Mahogany Reynolds
BIO
Mahogany is a seasoned model that is now embarking on an acting career.
Mahogany launched her modeling career as a spokes-model for Raphael, an internally known avant-garde hairstylist. Mahogany worked for Raphael for two years, traveling the U.S. to appear in various beauty shows. Mahogany’s talent spread, and soon she was booked for print work, in major hair magazines (see credits for titles).
This experience allowed Mahogany to segue into commercial modeling. Mahogany shot TV commercials, department store print ads (see tear sheet), and landed a national commercial with GE (General Electric) as a young bride. Her modeling career accomplishments thus far include
print work, commercial (print & TV), and runway.
Mahogany is known for her strength in the latter area of modeling; due to her signature legs.
In 2007, Mahogany was a top runway model in Detroit Fashion Week.
She has now shifted her focus to acting.
Her commitment to growing as an actress aided her in landing
a leading role in a feature length independent film.
This film will be released internationally in 2009.

Mahogany believes in the mantra "There is no such thing as small parts, only small actors."
It is her goal to continue booking roles that showcase her diverse talent and range.

With a degree in journalism, Mahogany has the skills to host and interview on-camera. Before launching her modeling career full-time, she was an entertainment news reporter, having interviewed several hot artists such as LL Cool J and actress Vivica A. Fox.
Mahogany is currently based in the New York metro area.
